Vet: “That’s $340, thanks. Oh and the cone has to stay on the cat’s head for 10 days, if it comes off and it plays with its stitches, it might die.” Us: O...K. Take cat home. Cat removes cone 5 times in 10 minutes. Ring vet: “Hello, the cat can take this cone off really easily.” Vet: “O yeh, they’ll do that.” Silence. No suggestions. Us: “OK”. Hang up. Modify cone ourselves to keep on cat’s head. That’ll be $340 please, somebody.
