That's a heckuva stat. The threat is greater than any war, the possible end of all civilisation. We stopped the whole world, everything we were doing, for over a decade, to fight the world wars. A far smaller threat. Today? Disaster is just a stage kidults perform their identities on. It creates visibility, attention. Nobody tries to fix anything, they just want to be seen and heard, to promote their identity/status.
