Be prepared in Australia for the targeting of rural and regional people by One Nation, including their newest recruit Barnaby Joyce. They see real opportunity to steal lots of Nationals votes. They’re also targeting local councils, many of the populist candidates who have been successful in recent times are really Trumpian One Nation supporters. A lot of it will be driven by nonsense about wind farms, like this, to vacuum up gullible rural and regional voters who normally wouldn’t go near One Nation. It’ll be interesting to see how the Nats respond, given they invented the fake problems with wind farms to distract voters from how hopeless Joyce was as a leader, and won’t want One Nation to steal the fake hysteria from them. Just to correct the BS in this, annually the world buries over 500 MILLION tonnes of coal ash in landfill alone. Per YEAR. That doesn’t even start to touch the air pollution impact, or the impact of gas and oil. Wind turbine blades can also be recycled. When people who never mentioned the environment once in their lives untl they wanted to oppose renewables speak, ignore it. It’s fake concern.
