Wanna use this simple guitar chord as an example, to talk philosophy. We’re all taught that the world is made up of atoms, as simple building blocks that then get combined to make ever more complex things. But that’s wrong. Atoms are the most complex thing we know, and everything made from them is simple, and simpler the bigger they get. Atoms are potentials, they can become all sorts of things. A chord is a good example. Looks simple, but can be used in an infinite number of songs. It has almost infinite potential. A song, which seems more complex than a single chord, can only be that one song, nothing else. It’s much simpler than a single chord, it has no real potential. Potentiality is the soil in which the whole universe grows.
