Lest we Forget. Over 100 million people died in the 20th century fighting for freedoms. Everyday people were bombed daily, but got through it with stoicism. So...are we betraying those 100 million and more who died every time we vote for somebody who promises us ‘safety’ and ‘security’, while taking away freedoms those people died for? How did we become so cowardly that a handful of bullies with knives and bombs send us into such panic? As a society we’ve become pathetically fearful, which makes us puppets in the hands of bullies.
