‘Building up immunity’ with lots of healthy, ‘natural’ infections. Like the good old days. I think I’d like to repeat every day that most people who have ever lived have died of an infection of some kind. With anti-vax now rampant, antibiotic resistance and the demolition of public health control of the spread of disease, we’re on a fast-track back to those days. Human life expectancy doubled in the last century. Nearly all of that was the control of infection. Anybody who tells you we ‘live with’ infections is a moron and ultimately a killer.
