If this had been electric vehicles, all the smirking petrolheads would be having a field day. Social media magnifies everything that’s stupid a hundredfold. For example an ordinary petrol car is 100 times more likely to catch fire, than an EV. But we’ve all seen the stories on social media about EVs catching fire. I even had to argue with an experienced insurance assessor about it, who was advising firms to take out extra insurance for fire if they got EVs in their fleets.
