A Judas Goat. Trained to lead other animals (sheep, cattle) to slaughter. The goat is spared, to continue the work. There are also Judas Cows. All social animals, including humans, follow leaders. Right now we have Judas leaders leading us to Covid slaughter. People would rather die than break away from the herd.
