Those worried AI will make us all forget how to think were never school teachers. Nobody was doing much thinking for years before AI arrived. (Sadly, including many school teachers.) Lots of people copying each other's thoughts and feelings and actions. A rivalry of copying. Social media culture. Not thinking though. Look at the PISA results, stupidity is now viral. AI is a rescue mission, not a threat.
