The news celebrated Australia finding another 100 million litres of diesel yesterday. It didn’t say that’s enough only for one DAY of normal demand. There’s no resolution in Iran. Supplies are almost gone. This is Covid v2, where the magnitude of the clusterfuck is ignored in favour of just telling everybody to be calm and carry on, and ‘live with’ the catastrophe. Australia isn’t even rationing fuel. Kidults can’t deal with challenge. Living with no fuel should be a hoot.
