The phone of a nurse working at one Melbourne hospital. If you’re out socialising like there’s no tomorrow, taking no Covid precautions, you and our governments are the reason nurses and others are drowning in sick people. Ever stop to think that it’s not just about you? That it could be the person you pass the virus onto whose life may be permanently changed, even ended? Covid waves don’t happen TO us, we’re not surfers. We ARE the waves, in our behaviours.
