For those who think AI just parrots what people put into it. This guy went to his local ER with terrible stomach pain. The ER diagnosed indigestion and gave him acid blockers. He went home still in terrible pain, and asked AI what might be wrong, The AI immediately said either a perforated ulcer, or atypical appendicitis, and encouraged him to go back to hospital and demand a CT scan. He did. The scan showed a critically inflamed appendix, at the brink of rupturing. 6 hours of surgery later, he’s now OK. AI likely saved his life.
