You can see the usual pattern of all fundamental change happening, with AI. People rushing to find reasons to protect the status quo, rationalising what they're already doing and finding fault with new things. But AI is so fundamentally useful and remarkable that most are ignoring the doomers. Nothing has ever unrolled this fast.
