An adult standing on the ground is balancing. For me that one fact can change your entire world. We know that in young humans, to stand or sit is to balance. Check the picture. But then we become an adult, and tend to forget that in everything we do, we’re balancing. We try to ‘hold’ ourselves instead, in fixed postures. Those fixed postures become our prisons, our ‘bad backs’ and ‘dicky knees and hips’. I’d be interested if people can feel that directly. Stop holding onto yourself to try to fix yourself in positions, and feel that balancing in every moment?
