FINALLY. National Cabinet came out and said Australia’s strategy is elimination of community transmission. It also said ‘that’s what our strategy always was’ (it wasn’t), but they can have their bit of face-saving there, so they don’t have to eat humble pie in front of Jacinda. It only took 5 months, but we got there in the end.
