In a society of ripped bodies and flabby minds (society struggles to solve its current issues), how do you workout our thinking? I think the law knows, and the fact the law is so disliked suggests it's the place to look. The genius of legal thinking is that it rejects the way we usually oppose specific things, and general things. In law, every 'case' is both highly specific, and general, at the same time. Flabby thinking opposes those two things to each other - platitudes (general) or outrage (specific). Case-based thinking forces you to look at the specifics of every case, but at the same time how it connects with other similar cases, to tease apart similarities and differences.
