Rather than seeing 2020 as some horrible year, at Christmas we could maybe see the similarities with what Christmas is actually about? The incarnation of the eternal in the body of a man. A reminder to humans of everything that transcends their knowledge, their powers and their lives. That’s what a pandemic virus does. Transcends everything, no human power or knowledge can master it. The best we can do is be humble before it. Merry Christmas everybody, it’s my least favourite time on social media, so I’ll say it now :)
