Ideas are more important than exercise - exercise is really just a set of ideas. People correctly say that your centre of mass/gravity needs to move upwards to go up stairs. But they try to 'climb' stairs as if they have to 'lift' that centre of gravity from one step to the next. The problem is - you can't lift yourself. You are yourself, you can't step outside you to lift your body. If you can do any activity as the whole of you at once, you will feel no effort - not one tiny bit. But our ideas divide our body up into bits, and we try to move those bits separately, which ties us in knots (literally). We then feel those knots as 'weight' and 'effort', when they're nothing of the sort - they're us acting against ourselves.
