Who remembers the international Women's March, 2017? When Trump was elected. All the same public statements we're hearing now, women have had enough, the patriarchy has to be brought in check etc. It failed, miserably, its own organisers say this now. Shortly there will be women's marches to protest the same issues in Oz. They will also fail. For two reasons, 1) the problem has been misdiagnosed (patriarchy), and 2) in politics you win by setting up longstanding institutions that promote and protect the things you cherish. Ordinary people already did that. They were called unions. That's the one simple task that will change politics, re-joining unions. I'm a broken record but it's the historical truth of politics. Only organised working people can oppose entrenched privilege, in any long-term way. It benefits everybody, even conservative economists want unions back now. They will tell you they need them to save the Economy. And they're right.
