Our obsession with flying will need to change, with climate change. But there’s no sign the industry itself is paying any attention at all, look at the massive surge of new airport building. Many of these could become stranded assets. And who’s paying for these airports? As always, it’s mostly the taxpayer. That industry, like all fossil fuel-based industries, is a master at fleecing the public.
