In my lifetime already I predict we’ll look back at internal combustion engines and wonder what the hell we were doing using them as long as we did. Rubbish technology, hopelessly inefficient, thousands of moving parts and fluids that need constant servicing, drowning cities with non-stop noise, choking them with filthy and toxic air. And all making us reliant upon an energy source, oil, that is finite and concentrated in a few autocratic countries, who hold us hostage for it. On top of all that, electric cars beat the crap out of internal combustion cars, in performance.
