Daniel Andrews was on telly this morning, speaking how a leader should. Saying schools generate significant human traffic, within them and outside them (drop offs etc.) Makes the bone obvious point that if you open schools 'as normal', you're adding millions of additional people movements to the community every day. At a time when we're down to single-digit new Covid-19 cases, the idea is insane. Also when pressed about golf, he said a line I think we can use for every whinging community member who wants their old life back less than 2 months into a pandemic: "Do you NEED to do it? No? So don't do it." (Incidentally, the actual headline for the attached article is: "Chief health officer: Keeping kids home key to beating coronavirus".) https://www.heraldsun.com.au/coronavirus/young-victorians-copping-the-most-fines-for-flouting-the-rules/news-story/388a6e0c4afda4dc832005129a14394d
