Watching Malcolm Turnbull on energy bills. How long will it be until we decide again that essential public services should never be privatised? Not energy, not education, not housing, not superannuation, not roads, not water, not banking. There isn't one good reason to turn an essential public service into a market to make money, and you're a rolled gold idiot if you wonder why every time we privatise these things, they fail. Making money from these services can't be reconciled with providing the lowest cost, best service. The 'market' doesn't even exist, it's always been a fiction created by those who make disgusting sums of money out of it.
