Straya worships tradies. Tradies are in my family. But there's a reason you can mostly DIY your own plumbing, carpentry, painting etc., but that you can't DIY your own MRI, or commercial airliner, mobile phone or hip replacement. Those things are bloody hard, they need people with years of education to understand. And we have very little respect for those people. The country has sat by during this pandemic and watched as universities have been gutted. Nobody cared, I doubt many even know it happened. The government engineered it because smart people call them out on their bullshit. About time we restored respect to smarts too.
