My no-gas shower hack (for those who don’t live near me, gas infrastructure was damaged in flooding, so multiple towns have no gas for several weeks, maybe even months). I heated a big pot of water on the stove, and mixed it with cold in a watering can with a shower-rose type head on it. Only a 9L watering can, too much bigger and it’s a bit unwieldy. It was plenty of hot water for a full shower. Just tipped it over my head and body as required. I don’t have hair to wash, but had so much water left that I could easily have done that as well. Made me realise how much water and energy we waste in an average shower.
