This is the side of super I don’t think is understood well enough. Most people will be more comfortable in retirement than they are while working, which shows how perverted our retirement income system now is. The lump sum amounts of money people are told they need in super at retirement are gross exaggerations of what’s actually needed. People can still access the aged pension, super was never designed as a replacement for the aged pension.
