The US has had 100,000 new Covid cases per day, for the past 3 days. They clocked a million dead this week. In the past we might have gasped at this. But yesterday Australia, with less than 10% of the population of the US, had nearly 58,000 new infections. We're the new country people gasp about. Per capita that would be the same as the US having over 600,000 new cases, in a day.
