Got my second and final shingles shot today. The most painful thing about the whole experience was the cost, about $600 for two shots. But it’s a great investment. People have probably seen the research I’ve posted suggesting infections are the cause of nearly all of our worst diseases, including cancers and heart disease. Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) - the chickenpox virus, that causes shingles too - is now thought to activate herpes simplex virus (HSV) in brain cells, from earlier in life. Which in turn is thought to possibly be a major cause of Alzheimers Disease. And shingles is also a heavy cause of heart attacks and strokes (as is influenza, why I always get a flu shot). You won’t even know you have many of these infections, you won’t feel sick. The virus lives in reservoirs inside you, sometimes for years, before activating again and creating these major diseases. One of the reasons I’ve been horrified for the past 3+ years that we’re deliberately populating every body in Australia and even the world, with SARS-Cov-2. Multiple times. The fact you might have a ‘mild’ illness is irrelevant. You’re letting the virus live inside you, likely for the rest of your life. We have no idea yet just how dangerous that will turn out to be.
