Yesterday the PM called basic checks and balances on political power 'public autocracy'. He's been running the (Trump) line that once somebody is elected, they have a 'mandate' to do anything they like. This is what happens when we don't do basic civics education, people have honestly no idea how a country is run. What the PM is describing as governance is actually corruption.
