I sometimes say Australia should be the Saudi Arabia of the 21st century. Rod Sims, ex head of the ACCC (a very conservative, ‘economic’ institution), spells out why very well here. In fact per capita we should be the richest nation in all of human history, with the advantages we currently have. We wasted the past 20 years waiting for the ‘market’ to do all of this, and all that happened was that foreign countries stole a lot of that wealth from us, aided and abetted by politicians of the market. While the same politicians cheered on 19th century technology like coal and gas, 200 years out of date. Please read this, you’ll see how fabulously rich Australia can become, with proper leadership from this point on. Nothing to do with ‘Greenies’, get rid of all of that social media rubbish. Or ‘saving the planet’. This is the new Industrial Revolution, and we should be leading it. Nobody else has our advantages. It makes me so angry that we lost decades to get this started.
