John Farnham became such an every mum and gran’s favourite that people sometimes maybe forgot that he’s actually one of the most amazing singers in history. This little bit from Playing to Win. I’ve never heard a singer in any genre that has done this sort of throat-trilling, it’s like what yodellers do, but the trills are at an astonishing speed - for years I’ve wondered how it’s even possible. Anybody heard anything like it anywhere else?
