My boy is 18 today. A grown up. Still the most gentle, sweet, considerate and smart person you’ll ever meet. I sometimes tell him that only the truly strong can be gentle. It takes enormous skill and patience and strength and intelligence to treat the world gently, anybody can lash out when the world doesn’t do what they want it to do. The most gentle of all the forces of nature is gravity, and it’s the force that shapes the entire universe. The meek shall inherit the Earth. Happy Birthday buddy, love ya.
