Many diehard EV-sceptics are clinging to hydrogen as an alternative. It's almost as appallingly inefficient as current petrols and diesels. And it costs a fortune to produce, and is even more technically complex than petrol and diesel engines. Electric motors are beautiful, far superior technology, older than combustion engines too. Unbelievable the crap the modern world puts in the way of the obvious.
