Louis Theroux’s Forbidden America, his look at the ‘far Right’, is compulsive viewing. To me it shows how boys have been left behind in our thinking. Young men have been weaponised by politics, because they lack role models, leadership and guidance. Barely any of them see a male teacher, for example, until high school. Some of the most vile nastiness of modern politics and social media is young men. They’re predominantly the ‘trolls’.
