Brrr. Still not even in the same ballpark as Canadian or European cold, or even US cold in many places, I know. But cold feels colder in Australia mostly because of the crap quality of a lot of our housing. The Scotsman who installed our new windows said the whole reason he does this as a job is because when he moved here he’d never felt as cold in his life. Thankfully building codes are getting much stricter now.
