Drove through Leura today. Had to dig out an older photo, to remember what it looked like before. Now it’s completely overrun by tourists. Almost mind-boggling numbers of cars and people, the streets 3 or 4 deep around the main street completely full of parked cars, and pedestrians swarming everywhere else like an ants nest. The place is destroyed, locals must run a mile on weekends. I’m sure some say it’s good for the economy. Until the economy trashes it and everybody leaves, as is happening in places like Venice.
