Australia copies Americans with cars now. The F-150 Lightning, the fully electric mega-ute, has been a smash in the US. They had to upgrade the line to triple production. I think mega-utes are ridiculous cars, but this one at least shows the demand for EVs out there. And why EVs are so mind-blowing. The thing weighs 3 tonnes, and does 0-100 in 4.5 seconds. I think maybe 9 out of 10 people who oppose EVs have never driven one. Once people do, they never look back.
