Banning mobile phones in schools is a great idea. Though the real problem is the social media apps on the phones, not the phones. And to take it a step further, the disruption those apps cause to education (huge) is what they do to the adult world of work too. It’s the reason we can’t do basic things like fight a pandemic, or climate change. Adults are as glued to their social media apps as kids are. Adults are more likely to take selfies with social collapse as background, than they are to to do anything about the social collapse.
