It became very widespread to say ‘living with the virus’. Which was a phrase invented by a politician, not a scientist. It was bullshit. And this is where it leads. Every person who gets sick now, listen to them, will say ‘oh it’s just hayfever’, or ‘it’s just a cold’, or ‘sinus’. They have no actual idea, but what they often mean is it could be Covid or something else serious, but they’re not going to test to find out. Nobody wants the great con of living with viruses exposed. This guy had severe pneumonia - coughing up blood - and then died of sepsis. All because we made infection a nothing burger in peoples’ minds. They’ll treat all infection as a ‘mild’ nothing illness. Most people who have ever lived, in all of history, died of an infection of some kind. I don’t think most really fathom the catastrophically stupid thing we did, with Covid. https://www.news.com.au/sport/motorsport/nascar-driver-coughed-up-blood-before-tragic-death/news-story/29b85b4d61e99359ce4c6ade21914e50
