We drove the Bells Line today. No question the more beautiful of the two mountain roads. But the road itself is lethal, not even close to modern safety standards. Amazing more people aren’t killed on it. And it was chock full of dickheads using it as a racetrack. Stopped at Mt Wilson on the way back, surely one of the most beautiful locations in the entire country. All due to generations of passionate gardening. Street trees, they transform a place.
