‘Australians with periods‘ are women. JK Rowling made this same point a few years ago and has been hounded disgracefully ever since. If the trans community find it distasteful, remember that post-menopausal women and women who’ve had hysterectomies don’t have periods either. They’re still women. All Australians who have periods are women. Call them women. Social media is destroying our world.
