Sharing my own data. This is what it cost to charge the EV in June. An average of $5.50 per week. That’s 2-3 return trips to Bathurst every week, 1-2 return trips to Sydney a month and everyday driving around Lithgow. On days when not at work that cost drops to zero, the home solar charges the car. Even now people spend more on a cup of coffee than it’s costing us to run the car all week, with big kms. Also zero servicing costs (there are no services). If you’re somebody who drives mostly around the town you live in all week, you’d only need $1 -$2 a week in ‘fuel’ for your EV.
