Australia is an island. We knew this virus was coming. If we’d closed the borders immediately before we had any known cases, and used the tests we have for any citizens who would then return from overseas, we’d have no real virus problem right now? And yet we’ve had this approach of gradually letting it grow in ‘stages’, it seems unfathomably stupid. Maybe in hindsight.
