Maybe my favourite cartoon showing what happens when you think the world is actually made up of opposites. You just cycle between the two options, eternally. I say opposites are debating positions, points of view, not actual realities. People who try to fix this by using the 'middle way' are stuck in the same paradox, confusing debating positions with reality. There is no middle here - what would it be?
