Starlink is becoming a vital resource for remote regions, like Pacific islands, poorer nations without broadband and even remote parts of Australia. An NBN spokesperson told me once Starlink is so good they even advise remote people to get it instead of the NBN remote options. Another example of how the personality of a CEO is such a childish, irrelevant guide for what's good about a company. These are revolutionary, breathtaking engineering achievements. One of Tesla's new plans is to put data centres in space, which are causing angst here on the ground because of energy and water use. Solar energy (and much more of it) is available 24 hours per day in orbit.
