A well-meaning video mired in confusion. More gravity! You can’t ‘push yourself up’ out of a chair, because standing is not ‘up’, and sitting is not ‘down’. It’s your body in 2 different shapes, one supported by your bum, one by your feet. You shift your point of support from your bum to your feet, no lifting needed at all. You’re on the ground in both positions, you’re not further up or down for either.
