Every new rock star thinks that crowd is cheering and yelling for them. You can see the rush of excitement on the star’s face. It doesn’t take them long to realise that the crowd made them, and owns them. Fame consumes and can destroy them, because the crowd made them and will always demand its pound of flesh.
