I don't have shares in the new contact tracing app. But I wonder if people have realised that the same 'data' they worry about sharing with government, through the app (which only happens if there's an infection near them or in them), is collected anyway and stored in a database, with the manual contact tracing public health officials are *already* doing? All the app does is dramatically speed up and strengthen that process. Refusing to use the app just makes public health officials' jobs slower and harder; the same data will be collected either way, and stored in a government database.
