Most people would rather join a gym than a union now. Whether you’re Left or Right, rich or poor, the destruction of unions is what’s mostly destroying our societies. Working people being looked after and earning good money are happy people, who don’t vote for Trump or Brexit. And they’re business’ best customers. But we can’t stop watching politicians and seeing them as the problem. We watch too many movies maybe, politics seems like just another movie, with goodies and baddies. Most of the fights we see in politics wouldn’t happen if the interests of ordinary working people were looked after properly. That’s the job of unions.
