WIndows still going in, huge job. Trims to add, inside and out. One of the things I love about these particular windows is the uPVC the frames are made out of. Very common in Europe. It’s a polymer, a superb insulator (much better than any other window frame material), completely waterproof, isn’t damaged by sunlight, needs no painting or other maintenance. Beautiful, smooth, white. Another example of materials science changing the world. As for how the windows are performing, I can get up on cold mornings now and not even need the heating. And rooms that are heated before bed are retaining a lot of heat, still warm in the mornings. All great for comfort, and for the wallet.
